Tractor Upset Injures Farm Youth’s Narrow Escape
Ralph Adolph youngest son of Albert Adolph narrowly escaped injury when a tractor with a two bottom plow tipped into a roadside ditch Saturday. He drove from the George Adolph farm toward his father’s farm on a gravel road and overturned after getting too close to the ditch. The tractor fell about eight feet and special equipment had to extract it. Adolph jumped clear before the impact.

Sunday May 1 official opening of Mississippi Pal’s active state park north of Savanna for the 1638 season. New concession building completed but not opened yet. 129 picnic tables and about 386 outdoor fireplaces and grills overhauled. State Music Meet Finals Set For May 6 and 7
