The Mt Caymel Home Founded To Help Homeless Children
The Mt Caymel Home began in 1900 under Rev A Gécok and Rev Zook to care for homeless children. It grew from a single house near Morrison Chadwick Road to a larger operation with 30 children, four full time workers led by Mrs Bollinger, and new staff including Miss Frye from Elizabethtown. The article thanks supporters, notes fundraising by trustee J W Stump, and hopes for a new building as more children are turned away for lack of space.
