W J Bailey former Argo-Fa boy and Kansas governor is chosen to succeed J Z Miller as governor of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. He, 1868 years old, lives in Atchison Kansas and was born in Carroll County Illinois. He attended the University of Illinois, farmed in Nemaha County, married Ida B Weed in 1908, served on the Kansas state board of agriculture, the state legislature, led the Republican State League, and previously governed Kansas 1903 to 1905. He has been linked with the Exchange National Bank of Atchison since 1907.
