Body Of Lavalid Woman Found In Ruins Of Cabin
In Ouray County Colorado a 31 year old tubercular invalid, Lilian Fye, was found dead in the charred ruins of a cabin on Log Hill mesa sixteen miles from Montrose. Her brother Otto Aye, missing since Wednesday, lived with her and is being sought by sheriff and coroner. The pair had moved from Grand Junction three weeks earlier after arriving from Denver. Neuner ranch owner says Fye had tuberculosis in its final stages but hoped living outdoors might help. The fire’s cause is still undetermined and investigators question whether it was accidental or intentional.
