Dimmick dies in Thomson at 69 on Tuesday
Benjamin Delbert Dimmick, 69, died Tuesday afternoon at his Thomson home after an eight year illness. Funeral services are set for Friday at 1 30 p m at Fay Funeral Home Fulton with burial in Lower York Cemetery. He leaves wife Bernice two daughters, three sons and ten grandchildren. He had been a carpenter in Thomson and town marshal for 18 years, later deputy sheriff of Carroll County. He was born January 14 1897 in Peoria County Illinois and lived in Williamsfield before moving to Thomson in 1921.
