Schell Memorial Building to Rise at Fair Grounds
A new Schell Memorial Building is planned on the fair grounds this year. The 24 by 36 foot structure to the east of the secretary’s office will house treasurer and secretary offices and feature a west entrance and south-facing public windows. First aid and public telefe booths unite on the first floor, while a 12 by 24 foot second story offers northward views of the stage grandstand and grounds. funds derive from a set-aside gift, with design by the late Charles Schelle, as the fair installs a grounds communications switchboard.
