Preliminary work begins at Savanna Ordnance Depot

Three Youths Survive Car Wreck Near Savanna Route 80
A Sunday night crash south of Savanna on Route 80 left three youths with minor injuries. Driver Marvin Hartman of Pearl City sustained a gash needing stitches and arm and body bruises, while passengers Betty Peterson of Savanna and Wilma Dyer of Chicago had a sprained ankle and arm and shoulder bruises.
