Miss Erma Boothby Stricken With Infantile Paralysis

Miss Erma Boothby of near Wacker III is confined at home with infantile paralysis. Her left leg is paralyzed and she is seriously ill. She fell ill after attending classes at Frances Shimer School and was taken home by her mother. Dr. Terner diagnosed the illness and notified county and state authorities. The Bert Hicks home where she roomed has been quarantined as a precaution. Mt Carroll authorities report no broader alarm in the county.

Funeral services for Mrs G Bolhous Held Wednesday

Mrs Garrett Bolhous died Monday after months of illness at Fulton. She leaves four children and was active in home store church and community affairs. Services were held at the Christian Reformed Church in Fulton with many paying respects as the church overflowed. Interment followed in Fulton.

Thomson town team Chadwick Saturday obituary

Garrett Bothous widow of Chadwick area farmer turned grocer, born in the Netherlands in 1885, immigrated 1901. She married Garrett Bothous in 1905 in Ustick township, four children, active in Thomson church and T N T society. Died January 25, 1932, age 47, after illness.
