Wolf Hunt Scheduled for January Twenty Fifth
In Carroll county York township farmers and sportsmen plan a large wolf and fox hunt on Monday January 25 with four to five hundred hunters expected. Ed Mest named captain, drive starts at noon after a church lunch at Argo Fa. Residents report wolves and trapped dogs and last year drew crowds from Chicago Rockford and Davenport.

Mr and Mrs Thos Hand entertained a large circle of friends at their farm Saturday for the silver wedding anniversary of Mr and Mrs J J Sheridan. Adam and Floyd Knese played fiddles while a real midnight supper was served. Guests departed with many fine gifts and the hosts were urged to celebrate again on their golden anniversary.
