Lawrence Dies After Prolonged Illness at Home
Edward Lawrence, aged 48 years, 7 months, 1 day, longtime Thomson resident and rural mail carrier, died Sunday evening at his West Mineral home after a long heart condition and pneumonia complications. He was born in Jo Davie county, married Ida Alveretta Bell in 1900, and is survived by his wife, children Laree, Howard, Dorothy, his mother, a sister Vera, and several relatives. Funeral services were held at the Christian church with interment in the local cemetery. Odd Fellows assisted at the grave.
