Jury awards $12,000 to defendant in damage suit
A Carroll county circuit court jury awarded $12,000 to Lowell Plickinger of Pearl City after a crash that killed Floyd Carter. The original suit sought $340,000 for four deceased plaintiffs and a survivor in the other car. The six man six woman panel deliberated about 75 minutes after a trial that began Monday December 2 under Judge Marvin Burt.
