Kate Cole Whitney reports on an address before the Parent-Teacher group by John Calvin Manteo who urged reforms to Circhewhow and Plant school facilities. He warned against crowding at the University of Illinois and urged building a robust local high school program with better domestic and general science space, a larger gym, and proper laboratories. He noted Illinois has many community high schools and stressed the value of recognizing a high school for admission and teacher certification.
