Crash Injuries Prove Fatal to Savanna Man
Harold E. Douglas 56 of Savanna died at 1 10 a m Saturday at Savanna City hospital from injuries in a highway crash on Route 80 north of Savanna. His car struck a bus carrying Illinois Youth Camp boys from Palisades Park. Two boys were treated and released. the bus driver Harold Arb and 18 boys were unharmed. State police said Douglas was thrown from his car after it bounced off the bus and that he had been driving erratically near Hanover while pursued by police.
