The Mysterious Stone Towers Explored in Gallina Canyon NM
Archaeologists from the University of New Mexico uncover in Gallina Canyon a network of stone towers built by early Gallina people. Excavations reveal intact contents, remains of 16 defenders, and evidence of a violent destruction around the 13th century. The team dates roof beams to 1143 to 1248 A D and seeks answers on who built and who wiped them out.
