The baseball team has over 1500 in the treasury to date with more expected as pledges come in and a movie show tomorrow evening likely to add funds. Several outfits and essentials have been ordered and opening game is set for May first with talk of a double opening weekend if plans firm up.
Arthur Robinson Seriously Injured In Accident
Arthur Robinson was seriously injured last Thursday when his four horse team was frightened by an engine and ran away. He was dished and thrown under the disc, cut in several places and badly bruised, but managed to stop the team after a short distance. Several local residents attended the Freshman class play in Thomson last Saturday evening. Mumps have appeared in several homes. An Eastern pageant Conquering Cross will be at the Argo church Sunday. Jack McGuire and Ned Turner are laying a new sewer for the condensary. Jas Libberton and sons brought a Ford roadster for Walter Storm and a Star Touring car for Adolph Fautz.

The glee club presents Love Pirates of Hawii May 2 and 3. Boys prepare for track, plan a duel meet with Chadwick. Eighteen eighth graders took the high school entrance exams last Saturday with Miss Ashby from Carroll present.
