Former YCHS Principal Glenn Demaree Dies in Arizona
Glenn Demaree, longtime Thomson Illinois high school principal, died in Mesa Arizona. He led Thomson High to its full accreditation by the University of Illinois, later served in the Army Ordnance Department and Veterans Administration, and had lived in Mesa since 1959. Survivors include his wife Ethel, two sons, two daughters, eleven grandchildren, two brothers and a sister.
