Henry Johnson longtime Thomson resident and Sam Slough summer resort operator died Tuesday morning January 29 1929 at his daughter Mrs Harry Houghton home in Spokane Washington after a paralytic stroke. He will be buried back in Thomson. remembered as a lover of the weeds and streams and a genial proprietor of Sam Slough. He enjoyed fishing mallards and summers at his resort and moved between Thomson and the resort seasonally with his wife. The home is now occupied by Mrs Deli Melendy.
