Funeral Services For Local Dentist Dr Barnett F Klein
Funeral services were held Monday for Dr Barnett F Klein 41 of 199 Shore Drive who died suddenly at his home. He graduated from Tufts in 1923 and began practice in Winthrop in 1925 with an office at 287 Shirley Street. He was active in the Knights of Pythias founder of the Junior Brotherhood Movement at the Community Building and a Troop 73 Boy Scouts of America committee member. He is survived by his widow Hannah and two daughters Eunice 11 and Cynthia 13. Burial was in Winthrop Cemetery Everett officiated by Rev Leon Masovetsky with Boy Scout Troop 73 honor guards.

Seventeenth New England Youth Conference Here This Weekend
The seventeenth annual conference of the Young People's Fellowship of the six New England states meets at St. John's Church and Parish House this Saturday and Sunday May 17 18. Officers from all six states lead the event with Robert B. Graves of Winthrop as local president. Delegates number about one hundred and host homes are arranged for overnight lodging. A strong visiting clergy lineup assists at morning and evening services with public attendance urged for the 8 00 a m and 10 45 a m sessions.
