Cornerstone Laying For Winthrop First Church of Christ Scientist
The cornerstone of the First Church of Christ, Scientist, Winthrop Mass was laid Tuesday morning June 5 after a joint vote by the Executive Board and Building Committee. A copper box placed inside the stone contains The Holy Bible Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures and other Mrs Eddy writings and church by laws. The ceremony opened with a president led address and Scriptural readings.
