In a June 11 1920 report the Winthrop Trust Company shows assets and liabilities totaling 1 112 666 92 with cash and due from bank notes and private rooms announced for the new building set to open in August. The bank invites customers to visit and utilize the enhanced space including private rooms and coupon booths.
A big Suburban Gas and Electric Company outing featured decorated cars carrying young ladies and flags. The caravan Led by Superintendent Charles F. Chisholm traveled from Wenham to Idlewood Grove via North Shore and Salem with mayoral reps from Revere and a Salem delegation, ending around 11 10 with renewed cheer.
A Review man discussed Short Beach at a meeting with Mayor Waleworth. The agor admitted neglect but pledged prompt action, with assurance that the site would receive attention by next week and that Mayor Walsworth will follow through.
