Unemployment Census Totals For Winthrop Residents

Federal census results show 1 218 Winthrop residents reporting unemployment or employment on emergency projects last year. Of these, 690 were totally unemployed, 277 were emergency workers, and 251 were partly employed, with most aged 25 to 54 and patterns by sex and occupation.
