Winthrop Golf Club to Host July Meet and Pro Hire

Winthrop Baseball Association Formed In Town

A large meeting at Legion Hall organized the Winthrop Baseball Association with Judge Charles J. Brown as president and Fred J. Murphy, Fred Tenney, and George H. Russell in key roles. Over 100 dollars was collected for funds, plans were made for a game this Saturday against Huntington of Lowell, and ongoing efforts aim to raise about 1000 dollars to establish a permanent club with 1924 season goals.
