Legion To Conduct Celebration Here

The local American Legion Post plans a Fourth of July celebration at Ingleside Park on Monday July 5 with 1 pm vaudeville acts for children and adults. A 3 pm ball game between two picked soldier teams offers a purse prize. refreshments for youngsters are hoped for despite shortages. Chairman Jerry Carlz and Legion officers invite all to attend as guests of the Board of Selectmen.

Servicemen Eligible for Tax Abatement

Winthrop Post 146 American Legion announces that all servicemen in the armed forces may obtain a poll tax abatement. Forms are available at the Board of Assessors and must be filed by October 1, 1943.

Rangers Meet at Mrs Davison's Home in Ingleside Luncheon

On June 24 Rangers gathered at 31 Lincoln Street to enjoy luncheon under maple shade and rose color.
