Burglars Steal 600-Pound Safe From Main Street Home
A bold Sunday evening robbery at 266 Main Street saw burglars haul a nearly 600 pound safe from Simond Piletsky’s second floor. Jewelry money and bonds valued at 3000 dollars were inside. Police recovered the safe and contents forty minutes later, with the accomplice vehicle later found abandoned near Schreiber’s store. The Buick sedan belonged to Max Brownstein of Boston.
