One week before voting voters will be called to the polls to choose town officers for the next year. A citizens get-together, organized by the Winthrop Republican party, aims to inform residents about the candidates and issues.

Friends of Mr. and Mrs. Archie H. Campbell of 63 Waldemar avenue visited during the day on Wednesday February 21 to share good wishes and flowers on their 10th anniversary. A surprise box of flowers came from the Michigan Club, of which they are members, followed by dinner at a local hotel and a show with a small group of friends. The Campbells, former University City residents, have lived here for nearly a decade and enjoy a wide circle of friends.
