Mr. Gilbert Silverman, advertising solicitor for this paper, died Wednesday afternoon February 2 at Chelsea Memorial Hospital after an emergency appendectomy. A member of Chelsea’s well known family, he had many friends in Winthrop and was well liked during his short service with the paper. The Winthrop Review extends sympathy to his family.
