Services Held for Former Patrolman Buckley
Funeral services were held for former Winthrop Patrolman Daniel J. Buckley age 66 67 at his Read street home. A requiem mass at the Church of St John the Evangelist was officiated by Rev Desmond. Buckley retired in 1934 after 32 years of town service and was noted for bravery kindness and duty. Burial followed at Holy Cross Cemetery Malden.
