Local Winthrop Boy Scout Council agrees to merge with Lynn to reduce costs. Lynn, covering Swampscott Nahant and Saugus, will charge about $10 per boy and $2000 for 1930, regardless of membership above 200. The move aims to defray expenses and sustain scouting work.
