Protest Against Deer Island State Prison and Shirley Gut Bridge

Winthrop Pageant Association to elect officers Friday
The Winthrop Pageant Association holds its annual meeting in the Old High School hall on Friday evening May 6. Officers for the coming year will be elected and Harry C. Whorf will outline the Fort Banks pageant on July 4 and 5. A drive to recruit members and support from residents is planned. Profits go to the United States Army Relief Society Military Hospital Aid Society and the local Red Cross. Membership is $1 with tickets equal in value.
