Ralph Paul aged 8 son of Steve Paul of Barrackville was injured yesterday afternoon when a shotgun he was playing with discharged. Two fingers and the right thumb were badly cut by shot. several pellets lodged near the eye but spared the sight. He was taken to Cook Hospital for treatment.

A large group of sorrowing relatives gathered at Hon O I McKinney's home for the funeral of Mrs Anne Belle McKinney who died Saturday morning after a brief illness.
