Editorial critique of candidate and Gronna legacy

The piece denounces a tentative presidential candidate as vacillating and partisan, urged by both parties, and urges a clear program. It attacks Senator Gronna for narrow views and for voting NAY on war measures, contrasting 100 percent American rhetoric with his recorded opposition to key national defense actions. The Washington Herald frames Gronna as unfit for the presidency and warns against trusting his patriotism.
