Green Towns Hosts Hanson Party and Picnic Plans
In Green Township a surprise party for Hans Hansen drew a large crowd with dancing. Ole Hansen was in Valley City. The Mortenson grove picnic was postponed to Wednesday due to rain, and a local baseball game against Berea will be played that day. A dance at Vondrocheck's is planned for Wednesday night. Last Thursday residents prepared the grove and grounds, Mrs. Hetland of Cadyville visited, and Corn cultivation advances are visible on the Valley City road. Some youths practice singing for Wednesday’s picnic and Normal students were excused from class Tuesday.
