Proceedings of the Lake Charles Police Jury September 1875
The September session 1875 of the Police Jury met at the Lake Charles Courthouse with President Lyons and members. The body elected J. Suet eae for one year, appointed Wm L Hutchins parish treasurer, granted a public road from Slaydon’s Ford toward the Military road, and named commissioners to lay out routes.
