Local Police Jury Holds Meeting and Road Work Plans
The Police Jury met on the day indicated to appoint overseers to lay out roads from Pasa Ben to Wonk and from Crock to Bandicks Greek. W. Tyler Jef. Young and W. Richardson were named as commissioners to report at the next regular meeting. The venue for the 6th ward elections was set at J. B. Wales. The body adjourned until 9 o'clock with routine business on pauper relief and cemetery duties noted.
