Parish of Calcasieu announces a court schedule under the Acts of 1868. The Parish Court for all classes of cases will convene at Lake Charles Court starting the third Monday of January 1869 and then every second month thereafter. Sessions will be open to the public and conducted by the Parish Judge.
Paroisse Calcasieu November 12 1868 issues a notice of court action for Rabéan and kin regarding affairs under parish control. Order for disposition set for January 1869 with further dates and witnesses listed in the parish proclamation.
