The November 8 to 11, 1875 proceedings record appointments to lay out a new public road from Lake Charles to a marsh crossing, tax and payroll actions, adjournments, and ordinances on criminal expenses and cattle hides. Named participants include Geo. Gilley, Loni Leblanc, Alex. Cole, J. H. Heard, Wm. C. Reeves, and others. The jury authorized payments, set road boundaries, adjusted salaries, and fixed fines.
