Notice to creditors and interested persons in the Wartelle succession that Frederick G. Moeling, administrator, has filed a Tableau and Account and petitions homologation. Unless written opposition is filed within thirty days at the Lake Charles court house, the account will be homologated. D. J. Reid, Parish Judge, May term 1869.
The Police Jury met on the 17th with members present and unrepresented wards. Resolutions authorized unbranded stock makers in wards four and three for two years, appointed road overseers from various routes, and formed a committee to mark a public road from Sabine River to Big Woods. Also approved a toll bridge charter, pauper support, and jail and courthouse repairs with specific contracts and drafts authorized.
