The Constitutional Convention on the twenty fourth ordained that Beth and Louisiana shall be taxed at one mill. The Auditor of Public Accounts is tasked with collecting and directing the new tax, with immediate instructions to Sheriffs and Tax Collectors in New Glens as of this twenty sixth day. James G. Taliaferro serves as president and Wa. Viorns as secretary.
