The University of Louisiana Medical Department held commencement at Grunewald Hall on Baronne Street at noon on March 17. Prof Ernest Lewin delivered the salutatory and Dr Samuel Robbins offered the valedictory. A list of graduates includes William Ayres and many others from Louisiana Mississippi Texas and Kentucky. The pharmacy graduates are listed with John Claussen Henry Gieff and others. The faculty page names president Randell Hunt dean Samuel Bemiss Stanford Chaille Samuel Logan Frank Hawthorn Joseph Jones Ernest Lewis and others.
