Stamp for Postal Banks Is Selected
Washington July 123 The first definitive stamp for the postal savings bank system has been approved by Postmaster General Hitchcock. It is a plain unadorned two cent stamp without a portrait to be used solely on official mail for the postal savings system. A half million stamps are ordered and only the two cent value will be stamped on the stamps to track expenditures. Until the system is installed the stamp will be used exclusively for official duties of the board of trustees.
