Opinions on Laws Import Cause City Elections Debate
Guthrie Oklahoma June 30 informal opinion from the attorney general's office says elections must be held in first class cities and towns on November 6 creating interest across the state. It is unofficial and verbal from Fielding an assistant. The state election board declines to comment. Secretary Linn notes a shift in view saying municipal does not mean cities and towns. If petitions force it a written AG opinion may follow to clarify. We are to have a sane Fourth of July or somebody will get locked up.
