The Weekly Chieftain urges Vinita to back a large school bond plan and new high school facilities, arguing money spent on schools attracts people and growth. It calls for city council action to approve the auditorium bond plan and promises a prosperous era in 1909 if funds are approved.
In Craig County Court a guardian seeks an order to sell real estate belonging to minor wards. J. W. Orr, guardian, files petition for the sale of ward property to benefit the minors, Oscar Morgan and others, from the estate of the guardianship.
