Oma City March 31 All property of the state including farm lands will be assessed at actual cash value if the state equalization board can arrange the method. The board instructed State Leo E. Meyer to notify equalization boards to return property to the state at fair cash value and that past county assessments will not control the 1911 assessment. Attorney general said county boards’ valuations were generally low, and the board set dates for public service property assessments in 1911. Railways private car companies and street electric light gas water and public service companies have dates in April for review and a special committee was named to examine returns. The board debated how to assess railroads under the 1910 law and whether the new rules apply.
