Printed and published every Thursday by George Sweeney. The Warcaman is a weekly journal at two dollars per year with one dollar due on subscribing and the second after six months. No subscriber is dropped for arrears until paid. Subscriptions by post incur postage charges.
From the Wesleyan Magazine a poem praises the conqueror of death, depicting Christ as the mighty victor who holds keys to hades and the tomb. The verse envisions a future when all will be raised, justice restored, and Jehovah reigns in triumph over death and decay.
From the Baptiste Irish Chronicle a preacher recalls a dying Irishman who found joy in Jesus Christ. The man, weak and in a cold cabin, expresses peace by faith as others reflect on neglecting scripture and salvation. An Osage missionary writing from Grande River in December 1822 notes severe cold at night.
