Pre Warorxas will be published weekly at two dollars per annum with one dollar due at subscription and the remaining at six months. No subscriber will be discontinued until arrestages are paid. Subscriptions must be for at least six months. Post subscribers will bear postage.
An elegant new Dearborn wagon will be shot on Friday the 12th of August next at M. Jacob Gearhart's Ferry-house in tush township. Regulation of shooting will follow the usual on such occasions dated July 20 1825.

Also estate notice for Abraham Miller and others announcing administration accounts filed in Columbia County Register's Office and to be reviewed by the Orphans' Court in Danville on August 9.
The Rev James Archibald known for chronic forgetfulness lived six miles from his preaching place. He often rode or walked with missing garments and misdirected his horse Old Dun. He frequently forgot Bibles and caused accidents during baptisms. He died after drowning crossing a swollen Broad River in South Carolina while traveling.
An act aims to secure revenue from tavern licenses by changing renewal timing. Licenses shall not be granted at the last two quarter sessions of each year. applications move to the first and second terms annually. Provisions allow successors to continue under existing licenses if approved. The act tasks county commissioners to implement related duties.
The act provides yearly county treasurer appointments each January for a one year term. Vacancies are filled by county commissioners until the next regular appointment. Treasurers must settle all funds by the second Tuesday in December or risk ineligibility for reappointment. Delinquent treasurers face suits and fines, and commissioners approving improper appointments face penalties. The Auditor General is directed to pursue suits against delinquent treasurers. Approved April 12, 1825.
