Richard Kirkland, 85, of U S 55 near Strasburg, fell while picking up trash and could not rise. He credits three strangers who pulled over, offered aid, and likely saved his life as traffic whizzed by on the busy Strasburg Front Royal road.
Warren County School Board candidates debated at a Thursday forum covering teaching critical race theory and LGBTQ rights for transgender students. Angela Clark Robinson and Melanie C. Arnold Williams aged 56 of 118 Luray Avenue is charged with a misdemeanor stalking offense in Warren County General District Court. Williams served as school board chairman from January 2020 until June, when he resigned to move within the North River Magisterial District. The complaint was filed by Robert Lynn Shipley III on October 12.
