Front Royal approves first reading for 36 unit apartments
The Front Royal town council gave initial approval to a proposed three-building 36 unit apartment complex at the end of Royal Lane. Pennoni Associates and the EDA seek a special use permit for the project, which the EDA would own. Units would target local police, deputies, rescue workers, nurses and teachers with rents of about 850 to 900 dollars a month. A second approval is needed before moving forward.
