NTSB details fatal glider tow crash near Front Royal
The NTSB report describes moments before a Piper Pawnee tow plane crashed onto private property off Ridgeway Road killing 76 year old Steven B. Zaboji of Reston. Zaboji belonged to Skyline Soaring Club based at Warren County Airport. The glider was being towed as an introductory flight for a passenger when takeoff went normal but the tow plane ran below and right of the glider. The cable showed slack. the instructor released and the aircrafts separated, the instructor turning and landing.

Device found at Cedar Creek battlefield prompts inquiry
Evidence collection continued this week at the Cedar Creek battlefield where a device possibly a bomb was found Saturday. Deputies and fire marshal personnel used metal detectors over a 40 by 20 yard area from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday.
