Front Royal begins construction on its first designed police headquarters at Kendrick Lane and Monroe Avenue. Dustin Construction of Ijamsville Md. won a 7.7 million contract for a 15151 square foot main station a 6720 square foot support building and secure parking. Total cost around 10 million. The project marks the town’s first purpose built police facility since 1935 and should take about a year.
