Area probation officer to face special prosecutor in rape case
Justin Bowman, 42, of Mount Jackson, is charged in Shenandoah County with raping a juvenile. A special prosecutor will handle the case as Bowman, a felony probation officer, remains on pre disciplinary leave, with a $5000 bond and protective orders in place. His court appearance is set for July 7 at 9 a.m.
